My blood glucose goals

Below is a table of blood glucose ranges that my doctor and I have agreed on as my “goals” throughout the day.

Time of day Blood glucose range (milligrams/deciliter)
Fasting (first thing in the morning) 75-105
before meals 80-120
one hour after meals below 160
two hours after meals below 140
bedtime 100-140
during exercise 100-140

These numbers work for me, but every person with diabetes is a little different, so if you have diabetes, check with your doctor.
