Dream Tour welcome home party
Last night, Bayer HealthCare threw a welcome home party for Pat and me. It was a wonderful event and the perfect final stop for The Dream Tour. Representatives from Bayer HealthCare and about 70 friends of ours from the Salt Lake City area joined us for dinner, drinks, dessert, and celebration of the completion of our 10,000 mile bicycle tour.

Where was the event held? It looks like everyone had a good time. It sure beats bagels, peanut butter, and bananas!!! Did you check your bs afterwards?

We wish that we could have been there for your Welcome Home Party. Your pictures were interesting to see anyway. We thought we saw some familiar faces among crowd. We were wondering whether Dirk’s home-produced disk was played for the program as our representation there at the party. Pete and Pat, we are soo glad that you have completed your Dream Tour and that you are now back in SLC. We worried about your safety on the road, especially when you were mixing with the traffic on the Interstate highways. Your whole trip is a testament to your determination and courage to face the unknown and unpredictable experiences along the way. We are very proud of you both!! You make a great team!!
