I've hunted the Black Hills not far from where you will cycle. It was a wise decision to alter your route. It may be a bit more challenging, but much more beautiful. Enjoy... Herb

Aren't the Black Hills hilly? Your photos are beautiful and make me want to take a road trip, too.

I've been wondering how you decide where to stop your first paragraph so that it leaves us on the edges of our chairs and makes us go on to the website in the email notification... It's always a cliffhanger.

Peter,
Glad to hear you made it to O'neill. You should expect some more steep grades of elevation as you progress to the Western border and up through SD to ND. You should be in good climbing shape as you head into the rockies. If you can ride 90 miles in one day, I think you'll be fine.
Take care,
Brad
