Dreamcatchers from Arizona
For quite a while now, Pat and I have been wondering what souvenir we might want to collect from each of the states we travel though. We wanted something quintessential to each state. The question is what is that one thing that best captures each state? We were looking through a display of Navajo artwork this evening and when we saw this piece called a Dreamcatcher (click on the image to the right to view a larger version), we knew that for The Dream Tour this was the perfect thing for us. Here’s what the label says about the Dreamcatcher:
They catch all dreams, good and bad. The bad dreams get caught up in the webbing and held there until morning, then burn off. When caught, good dreams know their way to the center hole where they are held by the feather until morning when they are released to return another night.

The photos of Monument Valley are truly great. The scenery is truly unique and you captured it perfectly. I imagine the wind does blow and may present some headwind at times when your biking througth the area. We look forward to another communique from you as you progress. Best wishes.

I don’t know what “Your response is awaiting moderation” means. Honestly I have learned more stuff since you started this whole thing. I love it!! Anyway that is the message that Dad gets. But it must be ok. I now know what a goathead is. We turned the pictures into a slide show. It is great MOM
