Today’s ride
Today was probably my second-to-last training ride before I leave town on The Dream Tour. So, today I felt like doing segments of some of my favorite rides in the Salt Lake City area. A good cycling route is like a good friend and you always want to say goodbye to good friends before you leave town. So that’s what I did today and I took my camera with me. Here’s some photos from today’s ride.
A view of the Salt Lake City valley from the east side.
I found this house along one of my favorite cycling routes in Salt Lake City. It’s not often you see a replica Statue of Liberty in someone’s front yard.
This is Granite Park near the mouth of Little Cottonwood Canyon south of Salt Lake City. Granite Park is one of my favorite cycling destinations on the east side of Salt Lake City because it has great views — east and west — and it has water and shade.
