I just got back from visiting the local bike shop, Canyon Bicycles, after they called to tell me that The Dream Tour bicycle had just arrived.  I asked them to call me so I could stop by and take some pictures.

When I arrived, it was still in the box.  Robbie and Mike, the shop mechanic and owner, respectively, admitted they couldn’t keep themselves from peeking at it.

When Robbie brought it out of the box, I was speechless.  It was fabulous! The front fork fade from blue to white at the dropouts is especially nice, I think.  And the fades from green to white to blue are just what I was imagining.

Robbie said it would be done today, but probably not in time for a ride today.  Tomorrow’s weather is looking like a pretty good chance for rain, unfortunately.  Yes, yes, I know it’s going get wet sooner or later, but I can’t have it getting wet on its inaugural ride, can I?
