First Five Days
The first day of The Dream Tour, March 18, will be a busy one. Initially, I was thinking of trying to do a 70-mile ride on the first day, but that’s probably not going to happen. Because of a kick-off event being planned at the Utah Diabetes Center, we probably won’t get started riding until close to noon. In the end, it seemed like a better idea to make the first few days shorter so we have an opportunity to acquaint ourselves with being on the road.
So, below is a description of the first five days of the tour:
By the way, on the full-size maps, you’ll see yellow rectangles with numbers in them. They correspond to intermediate waypoints on the route. Most of them are there only to keep my routing software from putting the route back onto I-15 There’s no setting in the program for “Bicycle” routing, unfortunately, so it keeps thinking that the best way for me to get to the destination would be to hop on the interstate.
